This standard BS EN ISO 5356-1:2015 Anaesthetic and respiratory equipment. Conical connectors is classified in these ICS categories:

The only changes to the scope are:

1. the inclusion of 11,5 mm cones and sockets and;

2. a definitive statement that as this standard is a dimensional, reference standard these cones and sockets are not devices in their own right. As such they cannot meet the Essential Requirements of the Medical Device Directive or be CE marked. There is therefore no Annex ZA.
