This document describes a method for determination of the salt content in bitumen, conventionally expressed in mg of sodium chloride (noted NaCl as from this point of this document) per kg of bitumen. This method is valid for "equivalent NaCl contents" between 20 mg/kg and 500 mg/kg. WARNING - The use of this document may involve hazardous materials, operations and equipment.
