This Part of this British Standard specifies the dimensions for various components of woodworking machines. It consists at present of two sections, as indicated below. Further sections will be added at a later date, as international work progresses.

Section 1 specifies the diameters for the part of the spindles of woodworking machines on which are fitted rotating bored tools.

Section 2 specifies the dimensions for the slotted collars and the part of the spindles on which they are fitted, when used in spindle moulding machines.
