DESCRIPTION

BS ISO 19976-2:2019

This standard BS ISO 19976-2:2019 Copper, lead and zinc sulfide concentrates. Determination of cadmium is classified in these ICS categories:
  • 73.060.99 Other metalliferous minerals

This document specifies an acid digestion and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometric (ICP-AES) method for the determination of the mass fraction of cadmium in copper, lead and zinc sulfide concentrates as follows:

  1. for copper sulfide concentrates, the method is applicable to the determination of mass fractions of cadmium from 0,01 % to 0,30 %;

  2. for lead sulfide concentrates, the method is applicable to the determination of mass fractions of cadmium from 0,01 % to 0,30 %;

  3. for zinc sulfide concentrates, the method is applicable to the determination of mass fractions of cadmium from 0,05 % to 1,00 %.
